Product Description
Grinding ballsare only one type of grinding media. Grinding media are the means used to crush or grind material (cement, mineral, …) in a mill.Grinding media sortingis performed when the ball load wears out. New grinding balls are then added or full reload is carried out to keep optimum filling degree and hence mill performance.
According to the material to be crushed or ground, grinding media can have
1. Different forms: grinding balls, cylpebs, grinding rods or even beads.
2. Different sizes: balls (diameters from 10 to 150mm), rods (different length and diameters)
3. Different composition (alloy): high or low chromium content for steel and alloy balls for example.
4. Different manufacturing process: balls for instance, can be cast or forged for instance.
Technical Parameter For example(B2 forged balls):
a) Dia: 20-150mm
b) Surface Hardness: 60-65HRC
c) Volume Hardness: 58-62HRC
d) Breakage<0.5%
e) Wear rate: 0.8kg/Ton ore
f) the effective grinding cost will drop 5%, when the volume hardness increased 2HRC
